Updates

We've switched to the new 2027 ARRT Radiography exam

. The ARRT® Radiography exam moves to new content specifications on March 1, 2027. RadRegistryPrep has already made the switch, so everything you study here matches the exam you will take.

Why we switched now

Most students start preparing about six months before their exam. If you test in spring 2027 or later, you will take the new exam, so practicing on the old outline would mean studying topics that are gone and missing topics that are new.

What changed in the question bank

We reviewed the whole question bank of 3,300+ questions against the 2027 content specifications. We rewrote weak questions and wrong answers, fixed category and topic tags, and removed duplicates. Every question is now mapped to its 2027 category and subcategory.

New for 2027, now in the bank

  • Patient scheduling and IV-supply disposal
  • Image Wisely®, Image Gently®, and pregnancy considerations
  • Image contrast vs. subject contrast, virtual grids, and detector DQE
  • Informatics security, confidentiality, and teleradiography
  • Lumbar puncture, epidural injections, joint injections, and aspirations
  • Foreign bodies, C-arm line placement, and NG/OG/enteric tubes

Removed by the ARRT, removed here

  • Computed radiography (CR)
  • Compensating filters
  • IV urography

Mock exams follow the 2027 blueprint

Every mock exam is 200 questions in 230 minutes, drawn fresh from the bank each time and weighted to the 2027 sections: 31 Patient Care, 46 Safety, 51 Image Production, and 72 Procedures, spread across every subcategory.
