Refund Policy

Last updated . Changed your mind? Ask within 48 hours of a payment for a full refund.

The short version

  • The monthly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time before it ends and you're never charged. We email you a reminder before the trial ends.
  • Ask within 48 hours of a payment and you get a full refund, no questions asked.
  • That includes automatic renewals: if a renewal charge catches you off guard, ask within 48 hours of it.
  • After 48 hours, payments aren't refundable, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Much of the site is free to try before you pay, including the micro lessons, so you can see if it works for you first.

The 48-hour refund window

You can get a full refund of any payment if you ask within 48 hours of being charged. This applies to your first payment and to each automatic renewal. The 48 hours start at the time on your payment receipt.

When a refund is issued, your paid access ends and your account returns to the free plan. Your account, scores and progress stay in place, so nothing is lost if you subscribe again later.

How to ask for a refund

Send us a message through the Contact page from the email address on your account, and say that you'd like a refund. Your message must reach us within 48 hours of the charge; we go by the time it was sent, not the time we read it.

We'll confirm by email, usually within one business day. The refund goes back to the card or payment method you used. Your bank or card issuer decides how fast it appears, which is usually 5 to 10 business days.

Automatic renewal and cancelling

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period so your access isn't interrupted. We email you a reminder before a renewal is charged. You can turn off renewal anytime from your account's billing page; it takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and you keep access until then.

Cancelling stops future charges. It doesn't refund the current period unless you're still inside the 48-hour window.

After 48 hours

After the 48-hour window, payments aren't refundable, and we don't give partial refunds for unused time. We will always refund you if:

  • You were charged twice for the same thing, or charged after you cancelled.
  • A problem on our side kept you from using what you paid for and we couldn't fix it.
  • The law where you live requires it.

If something isn't working for you, please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster, and a dispute can take weeks to settle.

School and program accounts

If your access is paid for by your school or program, refunds and cancellations are handled with the school under its agreement with us. Students in those programs should contact their program director.

Fair use

The refund window is meant for people who decide the site isn't right for them. We may decline a refund when an account was used to copy or download our content, or after repeated buy-and-refund cycles.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. The policy in place when you were charged is the one that applies to that payment. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
